ABOUT PRETTY enjoys individualism and authenticity, as this creates uniqueness. Each one of us was born into this world as exclusive creatures, not one being the same as another. We could argue likeness with another, but never the same in identity. To quote John Grisham; ‘Don’t compromise yourself – you’re all you have.’
MY STORY
I am fortunate to look back on my life, knowing that I was raised in a loving family. Conservative and God fearing. I grew up with an amazing Artist Mom. There isn’t a craft, this extraordinary woman has not tried and EXCELLED in. I watched her creations come to life and at times helped with pouring the wax for candles or sanding the surface of something, in preparation for decoupage…
Despite my privileged background, I struggled with the voices around me, allowing others into making me believe that I am not good enough, not pretty enough, not, not and not! I allowed their view to ‘define’ me. Based on these beliefs, I made choices that did not serve me and the definition of who I am was embedded in my relationships and my failures.
